屏東縣高樹鄉有對種檜木蜜棗的兄弟檔，張氏兄弟有天突發奇想把檜木屑灑在棗園，他們用檜木散發出的氣味驅趕蚊蟲，木屑腐爛後還會變成肥份，走進他們的棗園，檜木香撲鼻而來，每天在棗園工作就像都像在做森林浴，蜜棗也顆顆又大又甜。張氏兄弟為自家的檜木蜜棗建立品牌，品名就叫「棗樂子」，他們認為吃好棗就會快樂。
